Fearlessly Fit Faith

Hey friends!! I wanted to hop over here and tell you more about Fearlessly Fit Faith!! I have a podcast on it, so if you would rather listen, click here!! I am so excited to be walking in what God has for me. In the beginning of this year I was kind of timid about sharing, but I am realizing there is no need for that, especially if God has confirmed the things He’d like me to do.

Read on to find out what exactly Fearlessly Fit Faith is!!!

How did this all begin!?

Sooo… you may or may not know that I first started out as Coffee with Tae!  As you know I love coffee, hence the name COFFEE with Tae, haha. This was my first blog. I had always wanted to do something like this and after surrendering my will to God and letting Him work through me, Coffee With Tae was born. I used this space to encourage other christian women in their walk with Christ. I thoroughly enjoyed having this space so much, I met many amazing people in this time!

Throughout the Coffee With Tae journey, I started to realize that I also enjoyed helping people care for themselves in more ways than their spirituality. Without realizing it I started to look for easy avenues to do this, for example Mary Kay.. I loved this company dearly and these women are so amazing, but God walked me away from this because I was looking for the purpose He’d given me within this business. Thennn  some months later I started Beachbody.. At this point I had known fully that I wanted to help people care for their whole person and I thought this was the way I’d do it. Then a few months into Beachbody, it finally clicked that I wouldn't be able to serve the WHOLE PERSON through just sharing fitness things.. I wasn't being true to the gifts God gave me. So I walked away from Beachbody.

THROWBACK!!!!

THROWBACK!!!!

But also, right when I had initially started Beachbody, I had gone to a young adults entrepreneurship conference and here I got the Idea for a workshops.. I wasn't too sure what I would do in the actual workshops, but in the coming months God showed me what this would look like. So in my last semester of school I held my first “Finding You” workshop. I am so glad I had the courage to go forward in this! Throughout this whole workshop I just felt and knew that this was something I could do forever.

Caring for our whole person is vital because it affects how we serve others. We cannot pour from an empty cup. So after the first “Finding You” workshop, because I knew this was the kind of thing I could do forever I tried to run with it.. I was wanting to start a non profit and that is not at all what God wanted for me. I was running and he wanted me to be still and let him download what it is He’d have for me.. He had revealed what I would be doing but it was not time for the release of it. So God slowed me waaay down and I got the rest I needed which allowed for him to give me the goals that I now have for Fearlessly Fit Faith.

Also around the time of this entrepreneurship conference the Lord gave me the name Fearlessly Fit Faith. I remember liking the name but not being totally sure what it meant. But what I’ve learned is that God will give us something and take His time to reveal the fullness of it; this is exactly what He did with his name!!

This was just a short summary of my journey..

Now, let’s talk about what Fearlessly Fit Faith is!

First things first to be Fearlessly Fit in Faith means that we are living fearlessly in obedience to God, fit as a whole person, and have the faith to pursue Gods will for our lives.

Our obedience comes when we have fully surrendered our will to God, we become fit as a whole person in the pruning that God carries us through as we shed our old self and put on our new self (we have to learn to care for the new person we are becoming) and our faith carries us as we pursue our God given calling.

The number one goal in fearlessly fit faith is to serve the individual to better the individual within their community.

When we know how to care for who we are we are better able to serve others.. We will be more intune with their needs.

So how will I serve the individual?

Glad you asked..

My hope is to guide ladies in finding themselves at the feet of Jesus in every aspect of their whole person - this is done through my workshop “Finding You.” The aspects of our whole person are spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, environmentally,  and emotionally. I have learned that when I have cared for myself as a whole person it is easier for me to identify the needs of my community. I have also learned and discovered my passions when I surrendered over my whole person to God!

Caring for our whole person requires intentionality.. You have to want to go deeper with God to understand the inner workings of yourself and by you act and behave in certain ways.. all the things that make you, well, you. Once you start to go deeper within yourself you will find the parts of you that are not like Christ and you will become unsatisfied with living that way.. you will become more like Him through the shedding of your old self. A finding you workshop could quite literally push you to living a life more full of Christ.

Another way I am serving the individual, which I will be launching very soon, is through a community initiative to bring people in the Hampton Roads area together. My hope is to remind people that having and being in community is really simple. It doesn’t require a lot of effort. It can be a dinner held a someone’s house (your space doesn’t have to be spectacular, we know you’re human), a walk on a trail, an adventure to a new place, creating together, having space to bounce new ideas off of each other, you can even just sit and read together!!

This is what Fearlessly Fit Faith currently is.. I am so excited to be on this journey with you friend.

So I want to share some practical tips for you to live fearlessly fit in faith

  1. Be obedient to God! Put Him above everything else in your life.. if this has to be an every moment thing that’s okay. Day to day things can be difficult but honestly moment to moment there’s always something coming at us. Surrender your life to God. You have to want this.. No turning back.

  2. Care for the mind, body and soul you have, because it is the greatest gift from the Lord.. He’s placed you here with purpose.. because we have purpose we need to care for ourselves continually so that we can keep persevering in our purpose.

  3. Recognize that life on earth is truly a gift. God has gifted you with passions that are unique to you so that you can serve in His kingdom and bring him glory.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about what God has put on my heart!! I hope to serve YOU the best I can, wholeheartedly!!

much love,

Tae <3
